A daily intake of 3.5 cups of tea contains the following daily recommended allowances: 16% of calcium, 10% of folic acid and zinc, 9% B1, 25% B2, and 6% B6. Teas also include manganese, potassium, and fluoride.
Both black and green tea have health benefits, but green tea has five times the amount of antioxidants as black tea.
Teas stored in sealed containers or vacuum-packed bags, if unopened, have a shelf life of up to two years.
